For the child patients of SickKids Hospital, cancer centres, hospices, paediatric offices, and their families, these places become their home and their lives revolve around their child’s illnesses. Our goal is to bring them out of these places, even for just one day, and give the patients and their families experiences that will create lasting memories.
To provide unforgettable memories of the performing and visual arts for children who may be faced with life-threatening illnesses or disability.
We’re passionate about kids. We love supporting them in doing what they do best: being kids. But many children across Canada are challenged with a life-threatening illness or disability. So our mission is to spread hope and happiness by creating unforgettable memories through the power of performance and visual arts.
We are a network of people devoted to being a symbol of hope and healing. Lights Camera Imagine was founded in 2011 to honour and celebrate the life of Alison Dunsire Keeper. Alison was a teacher and pianist with an unmatched love for the performing and visual arts. Her dream was for every child to experience the joy of the arts, no matter their circumstances. So our vision is to do just that.
Through the very generous support of our sponsors, we create special experiences for children who may be facing a life-threatening illness or disability. Whether it’s enjoying a ballet, meeting the cast of their favourite broadway show, or being inspired through a powerful musical performance, we aim to create memories that last a lifetime.
